iTunes suddenly stopped working in Panther 7B44...it just won't even launch. This sucks. I guess I'll have to go back to Jag...sigh

Yah...make 2 partitions. Back all your stuff up beforehand, as partitioning erases the HD. Then you can have a Jag partition and a Beta partition.

My iTunes suddenly stopped working. It crashes right after it starts. It doesn't do that in Jaguar, nor does it do that when I log in as another user and launch it. I trashed all the prefs in my home directory, and no dice. Any suggestions?

I did it with Journalizer in 10.2 (since my 10.3 partition was already Journaled), and it worked. OMG...I shaved like 35 seconds off my boot time :-o WOW! Thanks. PS...I noticed leaving my iPod plugged in while booting slows it down a tad. Maybe it's searching for a bootable OS on it?

How exactly would I do that? Use Disk Util from Panther? Because the Disk Util in Jag won't do it...I could also use Journalizer...

WTF Is "Waiting for Local Disks"? I keep getting stuck on that for like 30 secs when I boot into Panther. It's pissin' me off...1min 30 secs for a boot time is absurdly long...my original boot time with Jag (and Panther 7B21) was 51-55 secs...and my PC boots in 30 flat (but let's not talk about...

Never mind...I found a workaround. I move the window to where I want it...and resize it (doesn't have to be big...1 pixel will do)...then I close the window and it remembers. Weird.

Just installed 7B44...it seems more refined than the previous builds (duh)...and I like the sheet effect. It's not so flashy that it gets in the way, but it's still noticable. And if u look closely in the title bar...there's a little gap where the sheet comes out of. Like...kind of showing that...
