Today I bought a new imac, and when I was prompted to transfer files, I connected my old PB with a firewire cable, and eveything went fine halfway. tthe firewire symbol stopped moving on my PB and files stopped tranferring (error message below). I tried to do it manually, but the same thing...

I'm selling my 15in PB G4, 1.25 ghz, 256 ddr, 80g HD The only problem is, a lot of pressure is required to click the clicker on the trackpad, but an external mouse works just fine. Also, the latch doesn't work perfectly, and there's a few small scratches. Other than that, its a great machine...

So i've tried evrything and my webmail will not download to my apple mail program. Everything is set the way its supposed to be and still nothing. i'm afraid to reset the acct because i don;t want to lose all my emails already there. any help would be super. thanks, arthur

My PB is driving me crazy! When my old HD was in the process of going bad, it seemed as if my trackpad was doing something wierd. Now that i have replaced it, it continues! When I click on something, it doesn't work, so i have to press harder, or it double clicks with the lightest touch...

Hi, So I just had a new HD installed in my PB. I'm trying to install Tiger and when i'm asked to select a destination, nothing is displayed, however when I click on disk utilities from above, the drive is there. Thanks for any help. Arthur

A few weeks ago I installed Tiger to my G4 PB. For a couple days everything was fine, till one day i had to reinstall again because it wasn't booting up. Now it makes a loud noise when i move it, and my hardrive isn't there when I go into target mode and try to transfer the data to my old imac...

I actually bought it about a year and a half ago, it would be tragic to lose it all. I have some of it backed up, but not everything, not the important stuff.

I can't get my copy of DiskWarrior to boot at startup, plus my can't get my powerbook out of safe user mode. Nothing has worked. I'm curious if I run diskwarrior on my old "working imac" and connect my "bad powerbook" with a firewire cable and be able to have disk warrior repair the powerbooks...
