    as long as you are not behind a router, or firewall all they have to do is put your ip for the server, and the username and password, in their ftp software... if you are behind a router, or firewall then you need to set up ip fowarding to the ftp port.. (I can't remember which port it is off...

    PPPoE setup

    more than likely you need the mac set to dhcp, and the router set to pppoe. If the router is a Lynksys you can do this by going to 192.168.1.1 in ie, and put in the password of admin... (as long as you have your network set to dhcp) if this has been done, turn off the power to the computer...

    I was able to import in entourage from mail, I did it a while ago, and I am not at my mac, but I believe I just imported from mail in entourage... I think it was file -> import... not quite certain.... if you can't find it I can post more details later... (when I am home)

    Column view weirdness on login

    I am having a simular problem, in fact I was about to start a thread... whenever finder is launched (at startup or relaunched) it "forgets" my default view for my HD window... it goes to icon view when it should be in column view... any help would be appreciated...
