well, you stick with elgato and get an eyetv hybrid. i just got one, and its really nice. only draw back is that its software encoding, not hardware. but than i don't think that a mini is the best for hd tv. an imac would be better, but a mac pro would be best. even a g5 would do hd tv...

mac's yahoo messenger doesn't support video chatting. it only supports video monitoring, like a silent webcam.

have you pulled the ram back out to make sure that it is in fact the ram? and also, are you sure you didn't loosen the hard drive connection? but it is also possible the hard drive died at the same time you put the ram in. unlikely, but not impossible.

i have both the eyetv 250 and hybrid, and they are great. just wish i had a new mac to use all the hd features of the hybrid, but make watching tv easy on my mac.

from what i could tell from jobs keynote, time machine is for recovering files or revisions of files, not system restoration. but than who knows, i can't wait till it comes out, i'm hoping it'll run on my g4.
